Response to needs
All teachers continually undertake a range of assessments to develop an understanding of how to plan and individualise learning for the students and to support them to grow, develop and improve their learning.
Monitoring of all students learning is executed across class levels, year levels and a whole school level, which is overseen by class teachers, specialist teachers and the leadership team.
The information collected shapes the way in which students are supported through Responding To Needs (RTN). These RTN cycles are short and intensive and carried out in small groups of up to six students, working with a specialist teacher. The learning is tailored with individualised goals and support programs in place, targeting what is happening in class as well as focusing on the individualised need.
